Adaptive Alliance was born from a simple but powerful idea: adults with disabilities deserve connection, community, and a whole lot of joy outside of the classroom and after their school experience is complete.

Since 2016, we've grown from a small summer program into a full-time day service center in Beloit, WI, and the heartbeat of this place has never changed. Every outing, every skill learned, every inside joke shared between friends?

  • For 10 years now Adaptive Alliance has provided an invaluable service to the Beloit and Rock County Communities. As a place where adults with disabilities can come have fun, develop skills geared towards promoting independence, and increase community integration all while building social connections, our organization is unique in what we offer. Our staff has been together for over 2 years and brings a wealth of experience, energy and excitement to the participants and caregivers that comprise our family. The variety of experiences our participants get in the community with trips to Little Amerricka, a pontoon ride, horseback riding and a host of museums and parks combined with our in house programming of life skills, arts and crafts, dances and games ensures that our services are holistically enhancing the mind, heart and body of all who come through our door. With a goal of making every day like Disney for our participants, Adaptive Alliance has been changing lives in the Beloit and Rock County community for a decade now.   • Adaptive Alliance serves adults ages 18–60 with cognitive and/or physical disabilities who are looking to build life skills, foster meaningful connections, and actively participate in their community.

  • We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We are closed on major holidays.

  • The first step is to contact Adaptive Alliance to schedule a tour. This gives you and your family the opportunity to meet our team, explore our program, and determine if our services are the right fit for your goals and interests.

  • At times, yes. We are grateful for the interest in our program and strive to maintain a high-quality experience for all participants. If we are at capacity, prospective participants will be added to our waitlist and contacted as openings become available.

  • Absolutely! Being adaptive is at the heart of what we do. We understand that every individual and family has unique scheduling needs. We offer:

    • Full-time attendance: 35–40 hours per week

    • Part-time attendance: 5–25 hours per week

    Our team works with each participant to create a schedule that best fits their needs and goals.

  • Community engagement is one of our core values. Over the past 10 years, the Beloit community has played an important role in shaping our program. Participants regularly volunteer, build job skills, and explore recreational opportunities through partnerships with organizations such as:

    • St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Soup Kitchen

    • Local businesses, including U-Haul

    • Rockford Park District

    • Community events, attractions, and service projects throughout the region

  • No two days are exactly alike at Adaptive Alliance. Our program combines life skills training, community outings, volunteer opportunities, recreation, and social activities to create a fun and engaging experience. We are known for our family-like atmosphere, where participants, families, and staff build lasting relationships. Our focus on connection, adventure, and personal growth is what sets us apart.

  • Participant safety is our highest priority. All staff receive training in:

    • CPR and First Aid

    • Seizure Awareness

    • Autism Support

    • Cognitive Disabilities

    • Cerebral Palsy

    • Positive Behavior Support and Crisis Prevention

    In addition, staff participate in ongoing professional development and monthly trainings to ensure they are equipped to meet the changing needs of our participants.

  • We offer transportation assistance for participants within the Beloit area. Please contact us to discuss transportation availability and determine whether pickup services are available in your location.

  • We believe strong family partnerships are essential to participant success. Families can expect:

    • Regular communication by phone or text

    • Immediate updates regarding important concerns or accomplishments

    • Monthly newsletters featuring upcoming outings, activities, and menus

    • Open-door access to call, text, or visit whenever they would like
